Whatever you show the world should always be smaller than what really is.
This is not because you are necessarily hiding it from “witches and wizards” but because there should be boundaries in all relationships.
The way your family knows you shouldn't be the way certain friends know you. The way your close friends know you must be different from how your colleagues know you.
Perhaps I may be biased on this topic because I am so intensely private. To be clear, I am not against posting achievements on social media; in fact, I am all for it. It's important to show your work. You definitely should, especially on LinkedIn.
However, the Internet is not your friend. The Internet does not like you or hate you. The Internet just doesn't care. Do not live for it because it will move on if you are no more.
In showing the world your mansion, there must be a bigger mansion or a more secluded cabin where you go for retreats that the world doesn't know about.
This is not to say that you should not be vulnerable, but when you talk about that big achievement or a particularly low time in your life, it is important to make sure that the message has a purpose: to edify others in Christ and to help.
More importantly, it should never be the full picture because the world can never fully understand.
